Hot Logic makes Fall Cooking easy

Hot Logic and Fall Recipes

As the fall weather settles in, so does the cold making it easy to transition into warm and cozy food. Many meals are a great fit for the Hot Logic series anywhere from chilis, casseroles and who can forget the desserts!

Apple crisp, apple pie, caramel apples, all fall favorites. Making apple crisp in the Hot Logic was very easy and came out great!

Wanting to enjoy the beautiful fall weather, Hot Logic 9x13 and mini allowed us to cook a full meal with only 20-30 minutes of prep and 4 plus hours of fun out and about.

Not to get sidetracked but using both products provided a full meal for the two of us! Hot Logic mini (apple crisp), 9x13 (BBQ Chicken from raw and tater tot casserole).

The apple crisp recipe was quick and easy to make. The recipe fits the 9x13 but the mini shows half the recipe. Note: pictured recipe in Hot Logic mini, cut recipe in half.

For the topping:
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup rolled oats (recipe pictured users chopped oats)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 Tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 Tsp salt
8 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the filling:
6 medium apples (about 3 pounds), peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch chunks
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 Tsp ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Start the recipe by making the filling first. Peel the apples, cut into 1-inch chunks then mix with all the ingredients.

Next, make the topping by mixing the dry ingredients together. Melt the butter then pour into the mixture and mix until all ingredients form a crumble.

Once the topping has a crumbly texture, evenly spread over the filling, cover, and place in the Hot Logic.

This crisp cooked for 4 hours and had a great texture to the apples. Time may vary based on cooking the 9x13 size.

When the dessert comes out, add ice cream or caramel topping for some extra flavor. With the Holiday season starting, apple crisp is a quick and easy favorite for any party.

Traveling? Bring your inverter, plus the dessert while you drive and show up with a hot and ready dessert.
