Quick and Easy Grocery Hacks

We’ve all been there: rushing through the grocery store to grab something to make for dinner later in the day, waiting for inspiration to strike.

Here are a few of favorite recipes to have a delicious and easy meal ready using your HOTLOGIC®:

 

Pasta Bake

What You’ll Need:

  1. One jar of spaghetti sauce
  2. One bag frozen ravioli
  3. One bag of frozen Italian style vegetables
  4. One bag shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions: Pour a light layer of sauce on the bottom of your container; spread the frozen ravioli and vegetables on top and the pour the remaining sauce over the pasta. Sprinkle cheese on the top, put the lid on your container, and insert it into your HOTLOGIC®. Cook for at least 2.5 hours or until cooked through.

 Tip: This recipe can be used in both the Mini and Family size, simply add ingredients to fill your container leaving space at the top (don’t pack your ingredients into your container). We recommend using at least a ½ cup of sauce for every 12 ravioli.

 

Taco Chicken and Rice

 What You’ll Need:

  1. One package of plain ready rice
  2. One pack of taco seasoning
  3. One bag of cooked frozen grilled chicken strips
  4. One bag of frozen peppers and onions
  5. One jar of salsa
  6. One bag shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions: Pour the ready rice into your container. Spread the frozen grilled chicken strips and frozen peppers and onions onto the rice. Combine the salsa and taco seasoning, pour on top. Sprinkle cheese over the seasoned salsa put the lid on your container and insert it into your HOTLOGIC®. Cook for at least 2.5 hours or until heated through.

 Tips: This recipe can be used in both the Mini and Family size, simply add ingredients to fill your container leaving space at the top (don’t pack your ingredients into your container).

 

 Sausage and Veggies

 What You’ll Need:

  1. One package of smoked sausage
  2. One package of frozen California blend vegetables
  3. Seasoning or sauce of your choice like: Cajun seasoning, Italian salad dressing, BBQ sauce, Lemon Pepper, Seasoned salt

Instructions: Lightly grease your container with butter or oil. Slice the smoked sausage into ½ inch slices and pour them into your container along with the frozen vegetables. Add the seasoning of your choice to ensure all ingredients are evenly covered and mix everything together. Put the lid on your container and insert it into your HOTLOGIC®. Cook for at least 2 hours or until heated through.

Tips: This recipe can be used in both the Mini and Family size, simply add ingredients to fill your container leaving space at the top (don’t pack your ingredients into your container). When adding the liquid or dry seasonings, add enough to evenly coat ingredients but be sure not to over season.
