1. Contest Name
Nessa's Nook x HotLogic August Comment Contest (the "Contest").
2. Sponsor and Administrator
The Contest is sponsored by HotLogic (the "Sponsor") and administered by Nessa's Nook (the "Administrator"). References to "Released Parties" in these rules include the Sponsor, the Administrator, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and all other companies associated with the design or execution of this Contest, and the officers, directors, employees, and agents of each.
3. Contest Dates
The Contest Period begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on August 1, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on August 31, 2026 (the "Contest Period"). The Contest consists of thirty-one (31) Daily Prize periods, one for each calendar day in August, and one (1) Grand Prize period covering the entire Contest Period. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations.
4. Eligibility — Who May Enter
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States, D.C., and Canada (excluding Quebec, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut), who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, e.g., 19 in certain Canadian provinces) as of the date of entry. Void where prohibited. The following persons are not eligible to enter, participate, or win:
· Employees, officers, and directors of any Released Party; and
· Members of the immediate families (parents, grandparents, siblings, children, spouses, and in-laws) or households, whether or not related, of any of the above.
5. How to Enter
During the Contest Period, the Administrator will publish one (1) piece of original content per day on the Nessa's Nook YouTube channel (each a "Daily Post"). Each Daily Post will include a specific "Question of the Day" comment prompt. To enter, a viewer must:
· Watch the Daily Post on YouTube; and
· Leave a comment on that Daily Post answering the Question of the Day.
Comments must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on the calendar day the Daily Post is published to be eligible for that day's Daily Prize. All comments are eligible for the Grand Prize provided they are submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on August 31, 2026. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase does not improve chances of winning.
Entry Limits. Each contestant — identified by YouTube handle and/or verified shipping address — may win no more than one (1) Daily Prize during the entire Contest Period. Winning a Daily Prize does not disqualify a contestant from also winning the Grand Prize. Duplicate, near-duplicate, spam, or automated entries will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and Administrator.
6. YouTube Platform Compliance
This Contest is conducted on YouTube and is subject to YouTube's Contest Policies and Guidelines (support.google.com/youtube/answer/1620498) and the YouTube Terms of Service (youtube.com/t/terms). The following disclosures are required by YouTube:
· YouTube is not a sponsor. YouTube is NOT a sponsor of this Contest. By entering, each entrant agrees to completely release YouTube (Google LLC) from any and all liability related to this Contest.
· Community Guidelines compliance. All entries must comply with the YouTube Community Guidelines (youtube.com/t/community_guidelines). Entries that violate these guidelines will be disqualified.
· Terms of Service compliance. These Official Rules are wholly consistent with the YouTube Terms of Service.
· No metric manipulation. Entrants may not be required to like, subscribe, share, or otherwise manipulate YouTube metrics as a condition of entry. Entry is by comment only.
· Paid promotion disclosure. Each video and post in this Contest will include a paid promotion disclosure (#ad or #HotLogicPartner) consistent with FTC endorsement guidelines and the YouTube paid promotion policy, reflecting the existing affiliate relationship between Nessa’s Nook and HotLogic.
7. Comment Guidelines and Entry Requirements
By entering, each entrant warrants and represents that their submitted comment: (a) was created solely by the entrant and is their original work; (b) does not incorporate content requiring the consent of any third party; (c) does not violate any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other right of any third party; and (d) complies with these Official Rules and the YouTube Community Guidelines. Entries will be automatically disqualified if they contain:
· Profanity, obscenity, hate speech, or content disparaging HotLogic, Nessa's Nook, or any group or individual;
· Personal information about anyone other than the entrant;
· Material promoting illegal drugs, firearms, weapons, or any unsafe or dangerous activity;
· Copyrighted or trademarked material owned by any entity other than the entrant;
· Content advertising or promoting any brand or product other than those of the Sponsor; or
· Automated, mechanically reproduced, or bot-generated submissions.
8. Judging Criteria and Winner Selection (Skill-Based Contest)
This is a skill-based contest; winners are not selected by random draw. The Administrator will review all eligible entries and select winners based on the following weighted criteria:
· Relevance — How directly and thoughtfully the comment addresses the Question of the Day (34%);
· Creativity and Originality — The uniqueness, humor, or creativity of the response (33%); and
· Genuine Engagement — The authentic, community-spirited nature of the comment (33%).
Daily Prize Winners. Judging will be conducted by the Administrator, and all decisions are final and binding. In the event of duplicate or near-duplicate entries, only one entry per person will be considered. One (1) winner will be selected for each of the thirty-one (31) Daily Posts. The winning comment will be announced by the Administrator in a subsequent video or post.
Grand Prize Winner. One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected from among all eligible comments received during the entire Contest Period. The Grand Prize winner will be announced in early September 2026. Winning a Daily Prize does not disqualify a contestant from winning the Grand Prize.
Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received for each Daily Post and, for the Grand Prize, across the entire Contest Period.
9. Prizes and Approximate Retail Values (ARV)
The following prizes will be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed prize becomes unavailable.
· Thirty-One (31) Daily Prizes: One (1) HotLogic personal portable oven per day, drawn from the following product line: Mini (ARV: $39.95–$49.95) and Max (ARV: $59.95–$79.95). The specific product awarded each day will be as announced in the corresponding Daily Post.
· One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) HOTLOGIC® Breakroom 4 (HL4) SmartShelf® Oven (ARV: $1,500.00).
Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local taxes on prizes received. HotLogic will track cumulative prize value per winner for applicable tax reporting purposes.
10. Additional Requirements for Canadian Entrants
In order to comply with the Canadian Criminal Code, any potential winner who is a resident of Canada must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor or Administrator before the prize will be awarded. The skill-testing question will consist of a mathematical equation requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, following the standard order of operations (BEDMAS). Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question will result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.
11. Winner Notification and Prize Claim
The Administrator will notify potential Daily Prize winners by replying to their winning comment on YouTube. The potential winner will be directed to contact the Sponsor at a designated email address within forty-eight (48) hours of notification to claim their prize and provide a valid shipping address. If a potential winner does not respond within 48 hours, fails to provide required information, or is found to be ineligible, they forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be selected. The Sponsor will ship all prizes directly to verified winners. Prizes will be delivered within a reasonable time following winner verification.
12. Publicity Release
Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, each winner grants the Sponsor and Administrator an irrevocable, nonexclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use, display, reproduce, publish, and distribute their winning comment, YouTube handle, and first name/last initial for marketing and promotional purposes, without further compensation.
13. Privacy Notice
Any personal information collected from winners during this Contest (including name, mailing address, and email address) will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and fulfilling prizes. Such information will be handled in accordance with the Sponsor's Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws, including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and, for Canadian residents, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Entrants may opt out of any further commercial communications at any time.
